PSYOP MAGAZINE ("PSYOP", "we", "us") is an independent music publication. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use psyopzine.com, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect
- Email address and name if you subscribe to the newsletter or create an account.
- Payment details if paid memberships are introduced. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic usage data such as pages visited, approximate location (country), device and browser type, collected by our site analytics.
- Messages you send us by email.
Why we use it
- To send the newsletter and account/login emails you ask for (consent and contract).
- To run, secure and improve the website (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your data.
Who processes it for us
- Ghost (our publishing platform, self-hosted on DigitalOcean servers).
- Mailgun (sends our emails).
- Stripe (payments, if enabled).
- Analytics provider
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EU under approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
Subscriber data is kept while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or delete your account, we delete your data, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link). Email contact@psyopzine.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for login and membership. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
